3 superstars on one team are you F'n kidding me??? Yes you can be assured the Heat will be villified in every NBA city. Sure they will play to packed houses and the league will benefit but everyone outside SE FL will want to see these a-holes lose. I hope the team plane goes down in flames.

LOL, they should retire Lebron's jersey in CLE...

But WWE style - retire it not to honor Lebron, but because they never again want to be reminded of the betrayal!

A Letter From Cavaliers Majority Owner Dan Gilbert...
.

Are you kidding? That was terrible. That was the worst reaction Gilbert could have had. He comes off like a petulant little baby who didn't get his way. Guys in the NBA love Lebron, who's going to want to play for a guy who throws you under the bus after you've made him millions. Gilbert is from Michigan, he left his home state to make his living, why is it so bad that Lebron did the same? Cleveland is now poison. You think it was tough to get people to play there before? Try it now.

I know his letter won't bode well with players but to be honest they weren't his target audience. But as someone said before, it isn't like the Cavs were a free agent hot bed before LeBron, doubt it will be after. I think the Thunder need to be the model organization and they don't go out and sign top talent, they draft and develop it.

He was doing everything necessary to get Lebron before last night. Cavs management was singing Kum Bay Yah with Lebron the other day. Now he is a quitter and all of the sudden isn't the player everybody thought he was? Please, Gilbert just went down in my book. What a joke. Why were they trying to sign him if Lebron was such a terrible guy?

I know he was speaking at an emotional time, but I can't get over how stupid he looks because of this. Somebody should have been in his ear. Now instead of the focus being on Lebron being the bad guy, the media is taking shots at the way Cleveland is handling all this. Show some class.

Its more about rhe kind of person he is over the kind of player. I'm soorry but Lebron James owed Dan Gilbert a phone call. Gilbert did everything to make him happy. Say what you want but thats a dick move.

I love how there are posters here and everywhere else acting like Cleveland owes Lebron something. We don't, at all. He doesn't owe us anything either other than maybe a bit of courtesy but he doesn't understand that concept.

Didn't Gilbert fire coaches/and management without courtesy of a phone call? haha. Lebron didn't owe Gilbert anything. In fact I'd argue Gilbert owes Lebron. Look at how the value of the franchise has exploded since Lebron has been there.

Exactly. Going on natl tv and doing it that way was the wrong move. I'm shocked that somebody would think otherwise.

You honestly believe that Lebron James had NOTHING to do with Mike Brown and Danny Ferry being fired? come on

haha. Nice work in avoiding my question. Gilbert hasn't exactly handled these types of things well in the past either.

If Gilbert consulted with Lebron and let Lebron lead him by the nose, that's his fault. Great owners don't get taken hostage by one guy

I know there are so "real hard core" Cleveland fans but to those of you(and again not taking a shot at anyone)who have said you will no longer root for the Cavs which team will you root for now?

To those who said James was their favorite player who will you now say is your new favorite player?

Again I am not taking any shot at any Cleveland fan on this yall have already had enough.

How many sell-outs will the Q have next year?

More or Less? It should at least be the same. Cleveland fans aren't bandwagon fans!

There not?
How many fans were there at the games before James?
How many people were there wearing Cleveland jersey's before James.

All teams have a lot of band-wagon fans.

I was being sarcastic. The franchise was in big trouble before Stern hooked them up with Lebron in the lottery. Cleveland is only loyal to the Browns IMO. The Indians and Cavaliers are teams Clevelanders support only when they are winning for the most part

My bad. I do agree Cleveland fans do stick with the Browns no matter what.

I think Gilbert already sold the season tickets for next year, knowing Lebron wasn't a guarantee. How is taking advantage of the fans being loyal?

just because i don't want to spend 50 bucks to go watch a game doesn't mean i'm not a fan.

i've been to about 10 cavs games in my life, only 1 during lebron's 7 years there.

lebron and shaq will continue to be my favorite 2 players, with steph curry climbing because everytime i watch that guy, i root for him.

the cavs will remain my favorite team.

50 bucks??? You must either be sitting in the highest seat in the arena or haven't attended an NBA game since 1984. Most decent seats in Cleveland go for $85+.
