Holding the announcement on a "neutral court" so to speak makes sense as there is no way he holds a gathering in Akron for any reason other than to announce he is coming back. It would be like a dead give away. He is coming back, but he is also trying to add some suspense to his program.

Guy loves himself to much so he has to be on a primetime press conference to say where he is going. No one else in sports does crap like this. This is him trying to recreate what it would have been like had he been required to go to college and chosse somewhere to play for a year. If it's in Cleveland or Akron, he's staying but anywhere else, I bet he's gone.

Agreed. Telling us the location is Akron or Cleveland would give it away, IMO.

No way LeBron is going to ditch his hometown on National TV. He's NOT THAT type of guy.

Also, as far as Chris Bosh, nobody knows honestly.. All these national media guys are speculating just like they have been since the get go... Look at the firestorm the rumored Amar'e trade caused last trade deadline for the Cavs.. Dan Gilbert/Chris Grant could be keeping this under wraps and feeding false reports. Nobody knows.

I don't think Bosh is coming here now, but he's pretty stupid to leave a 6th year and 30 million on the table, especially when this will be his last Max contract.

And if he goes to Miami, the "bigger city" argument was bullshit.

Actually, TV market size Cleveland/Akron is 16 and Miami/FT. Lauderdale is 17.
