LOL so what you're saying is, you don't like how you perceive I'm trying to tell you what to do as far as an argument goes, so you do the exact thing you're telling me not to do.

Yes, people argue all the time on here. I'm arguing with you, telling you that you're coming off like a little bitch and making your city look even worse in the meantime. So go police someone else's posts, I'm going to stay right here and call you out for being a little bitch.

Oh and since you asked, that post of mine you quoted is a form of expression called parody, where you mock the original content in that content's original style. Its much more clever than mocking the education of a school with VERY good academics.

Come on! I lived in Youngstown for 6 years...and it was just a bigger version of Steubenville, with worse people.

Some of you may be able to pull your smoke and mirrors over people that don't know any better, but not to someone that has lived and traveled to a lot of different places.

Steubenville is no worse than any other rust belt town.

That edu must've been so good that they taught you that parody was an effective way of arguing a point??? Or the maybe the edu was good, just not good enough to get through to someone like you????

You should consider a career as a trial lawyer. You could base your cases on parodies. I'll bet it would work out for you.

Actually I prefer the way it used to be.....smoke pouring out of the mills, air you could cut with a knife, black soot on your car, but everyone was working and making good money.

I think Steubenville is a very fine town. That is why I'm moving back.

We have one of the best school systems in Ohio. All the buildings are new and the facilities are state-of-the-art. Because of good salaries and job security, we draw some of the best teachers from all over the valley. The citizens are solidly behind the schools. I don't know of another school system anywhere that can claim that they have never had a school levy turned down. I might add that our Catholic neighbors also vote for the school levies even though they have their own fine school system.

There is also a lot of excellent higher education in the immediate Steubenville area. There are seven colleges and universities within easy driving distance of Steubenville. I hope to teach at one of them this fall.

Steubenville draws sight-seers from throughout the area. We have the fort and federal land office, and of course, the beautiful murals.

I could go on. I am looking forward to the move, and I wish I had returned to Steubenville years ago.

The Steubenville Schools have always acknowledged the support we get from our Catholic friends. Our levies usually pass by comfortable margins, and we couldn't do it without the help of everyone in the community.

I do agree having voting blocks of public housing to be bused out to vote yes on tax issues that don't affect them is a very helpful thing to have. I don't understand why you'd say your catholic friends help you though. If you mean Central people thats one thing but considering enrollments, i'd say a majority of the catholics in this town send their kids to your school anyways.
