You don't win 60+ games two years in a row with a "bad roster"...

Not only that, but nobody seems to acknowledge that

1) Shaq and Antawn NEVER played with each other until the playoffs began.

2) Mike Brown completely fucked up Antawn's effectiveness by trying to make him a spot up 3 point shooter. Byron Scott won't do that, Scott isn't an idiot offensively. Antawn should be placed on the low block where he can use his style effectively.

3) Anderson began suffering severe back spasms during the 1st round after he tweaked his back. This limited his effectiveness the rest of the postseason, especially against a team he ate up in the regular season.

4) Offensive pace. Again, Mike Brown was lost offensively. No set plays, no movement.. Lebron at the top, 3 point shooters spot up, Andy/JJ cut to the basket, Shaq create a blackhole.. That was pretty much the offense.

Yeah, I neglected to mention the Mike Brown "deer in headlights/omg it's the playoffs I just pissed my pants at the thought of countering Doc Rivers' moves" syndrome. Not to mention that for as much as it pains me to say this, the Celtics were a pretty damn good team (as Byron Scott reiterated in his presser yesterday).

I don't really get the fascination with Gilbert either. He has supported one bad personnel move after another. Just because he writes the checks doesn't mean he is a great owner.
Cavs have some reloading to do....but your post is garbage.

He wants to be the man he will stay in losersville if he wants to win a title he will go with Wade and the other top free agent Wade will be playing with.

I think all along he's intended on staying in Cleveland. It's home and the owners are doing what they can to surround him with better players.

I don't think money is his issue. He can be a billionaire and make $1 a game at any team he wants. I'm willing to wager he gets most of his money from endorsements, not salary.

Good lord dude. Give it a rest. "not sure why people think its even possible to win a title in Cleveland" Are you serious with that comment? Your ignorance amazes me.

As far as Dan Gilbert goes. Take a look at the changes that he has made in the Cavs organization from the top down. The majority of NBA fans would LOVE to have an owner like Dan Gilbert. Hes willing to do whatever it takes to put his team on top.

If Lebron doesn't stay in Cleveland I don't "LeCare" where he goes. I do think that he will stay in Cleveland and I've been fairly consistent in that opinion but you just never know.

He will stay in Cleveland, like I said all along. Got to love the haters on this board though!

I think Lebron staying in Cleveland would be a great thing for basketball, and if this happens, a part of me will smile and recognize that some good stories still emerge from the NBA. However, selfishly, I am pulling for Lebron to come to NJ/Brooklyn, and to be honest I am liking our chances more than ever. If I were a betting man, Cleveland is the clear favorite, but the Nets have made up a lot of ground. Just stating the facts: Lebron and Jay-Z are close friends, Lebron was seen home shopping in NYC, and the Nets apparently hit a home run in their presentation to the King.

Like I said, Cleveland really needs Lebron, for a lot of reasons, and if he stays put I will respect Lebron that much more. But shit, the Nets have had a bad run of late, throw us a bone! :)

It was actually reported on both ESPN and the Post, no need to talk shit. Do your homework, I was just stating a fact. I would have loved to have seen your original post before the edit, it must have been a real brain teaser.

There are a few Cavalier fans that get instantly butt hurt when somebody merely suggests the possibility of Lebron not being in Cleveland

I am starting to think all you do is bitch and moan about Cavs fans.

LeBron re-signing with Cleveland on Wednesday.

I'm sure the non-biased folk would agree with me. Some of us NBA fans would like to talk about news reports, breaking news, etc about the free agents in peace without a Cavalier fan dropping in trashing the post/news because it disagrees with their personal opinion.

I laugh every time a Cavs fan gets their panties in a bind over an unnamed source. Are you guys familiar at all with how this stuff works?

He'll stay.

It was a major goal to win a championship for the Cavs and to give up on that quest now is just the worst kind of quitting, bailing, whatever you want to call it.

When he's alone and really coming to grips with this in a genuine way, I think there is only one conclusion he can make.

He has no plans of leaving but he likes all the attention from everyone and is just playing it up for the media and fans.
Just my opinion and no I don't have some secret high security clearance at his agents office or anywhere else.

Oh good one dude, I wish I was as cool as you and never had to edit my posts....

I originally provided the wrong town (Solon), thus why i edited the post. 1. I was more talking shit about the bullshit reports the media provides us as oppose to talking shit to you, so no need to get your panties in a bunch. And 2. The Bill Cowher rumors were also reported on ESPN.

Also Jordo, don't even try to categorize me as those group of fans who get upset when "somebody merely suggests the possibility of Lebron not being in Cleveland." I want him to stay obviously, but I am definitely not 100% confident he will and I am very well aware he can leave. I have shot down many reasons on why Lebron is staying. Maybe cavs fans are just sick of your bullshit, since you come off as a troll on the topic.

Then how about this:

go to a GENERAL NBA BOARD, not one based in OHIO and you may be able to have those discussions.

ESPN has one.. Good luck with that. You think the Cavs fans here are bad? Maybe you should check out all the fans lumped together.. I have a feeling you'd quickly retreat back here.

Stop being an ignorant jackass.

What's with everybody telling people to leave lately? I like talking NBA on here. I never said I wanted to leave or anything haha. I just said that certain people get a little overbearing when somebody posts a rumor saying Lebron's might end up elsewhere.
