$6 million a year really isn't that bad. Why do people think that's such a big number?

I think the amount of years is the bigger problem.

But with the new CBA coming, It sounds like owners can rewrite all of these new contracts. That's what Bucher was saying on Sportscenter this morning.

Yeah, Bucher was saying on Mike and Mike the other morning that the owners want to make the CBA retroactive to this offseason. No way can I see the players union letting that happen.

Milwaukee has dumbfounded me as well, re-signing Slamons (after trading for Maggette) and signed Drew Gooden to a stupid ass deal.

Or pay 29-year-old second-tier star Joe Johnson the most ungodly stupid-large contract possible. Atlanta just condemned themselves to an eternity remaining as a second-tier team in the East.
