I don't think he could do it. The buttons on his phone don't work right and he'd only have one arm. I'm sure it would be way too complicated to type then. It's also possible that you have your newsfeed set on the default which only allows items from 250 people to appear on your feed (and it randomly selects those 250). You need to change your setting to allow all of your friends to appear on your newsfeed if you have more than 250 friends on FB.
