Cat,

Are you an expert figuring Harbins? If Minerva goes 9-1 how do they drop from 4th to 6th???

No... Just estimating but I stand by that. Look at the tough competition everyone is playing the last two weeks. Other than 1 and 2 everything is up for grabs.

To many teams would have to have a melt down. Math may be there. But in reality I don't think so.

9-1 Edison finishes behind, 8-2 LV, 9-1 Minerva, 10-0 Sheridan, 9-1 Salem, and 8-2 and 9-1 East Liverpool.

If Edison is going to move up, they are counting on people losing.

And a 7-3 Indian Creek only gets in if Dover and Edison both choke, with Edison obviously being out in the event that Indian Creek beats them. But that's not even to mention Licking Heights and Granville who are still waiting for others to slip up.

You been sniffing the wrong end of the horse again, Thin?
I don't see it - Edison stands to gain few points from BL this week and IC has huge L1 and L2 gaps to bridge.

With Minerva being 9-1 which would include a win over Louisville (which is tougher than any other team has remaining) i dont see how they drop to 6th? i think they have a chance of jumping to 4th and maybe 3rd with a East Liverpool loss..
But i dont see anyway that that both Salem and EL finish ahead of us at 9-1.. if EL wins out i think they stay at 3 with Minerva going up to 4th with the points from beating Louisville.. even with a loss and going 8-2 i think Minerva would be in the mix at the bottom..

Not sure if this is 100 percent though, because when I did Salem's points earlier I got 14.01

And they were wrong about Steubenville/ Marlington last week

We will see on tuesday when OHSAA releases there points.. Because i doubt that is 100%

It probably is wrong; after all it's WTOV. Just like the polls they take on the evening news; they never say how many votes were taken and no way to tell how many called in over and over.
Joe Eitel's site would be more accurate than WTOV.

I'm thinking EL has a chance to finish in the top 2 if they win out... But on the other hand when it comes down to playing on the field, I think the region is BR until proven otherwise....

Marlington will have their hands full with Sheridan in Round 2, assuming the current seeds hold.

In this region, in this year, I think all 8 teams may very well have their hands full. Including my Dukes.

I'd look for Sheridan to bump up to 3, and East Liverpool dropping down to 4 or 5, depending on Salem's ability to wrap up Lakeview

Dover needs to get our of their league, it does nothing for them when it comes to the playoffs which is sad because they have had some really good teams. But when it comes to playoffs they can never get out of this region.

I have hated this league for a long time, Luckily the league is splitting up and we will no longer need to play teams that seem to always be 1-9 t 3-7. Dovers division will be us, New Phila, Marrietta, Zanesville, and Cambridge. We will then have to play one team out of the other division each year (hopefully Coshocton) and be available to schedule 5 out of league games each year.
