If we win out, I couldn't imagine we would finish less than fourth. I Doubt Lexington is going to generate many points for Sheridan, and Lakeview and East Liverpool are big points for the Quakers, assuming wins.TheQ;517339 wrote:Doubt it. Hopefully Tri-Valley will have enough defense to shut down what looks like a high powered Generals offense (they're also no slouches on defense). They've traded wins over the last few years or so, so hopefully...... The Potters won't help because it looks like they should win out before going to Salem. #7 Licking Valley and #8 Edison face two good programs in Newark Catholic and Bellaire so Salem will be looking for help there. Salem will just have to take care of business over the next three weeks (they'll have to win out to have any hope for a home playoff) and maybe the computer gods will treat them kindly.
Pasteur has them barely getting it if they go 10-0 though, so a Tri-Valley win would be much appreciated. But it looks like an 8-2 East Liverpool would fall below both a 10-0 Sheridan and a 9-1 Salem.
He seems to have been pretty critical of Big Red for that Massillon loss. But that makes sense as his system doesn't even consider the WV teams they beat.
What I found surprising though was 4:5 regional championship odds for Marlington, that might be a little extreme.
