There was no way they could anticipate their consoles shitting out on them. It took a year or two for the problem to start happening.

Don't buy Lenovo. It's really shit. Frye's (the big computer store) talked me into buying it. I will never listen to their advice again.

Also, it's stupid to bicker about which brand of PC's are better. They're all built with the same parts from the same Asian suppliers. It really boils down to customer support and whether or not the computer looks aesthetically pleasing.

True...however I can say where I work we have over 1000 PC in the building. We had Lenovo Thinkcentres and they were horrible about breaking. At one point we had 20 of them in repair status. I'd say 1 out of every 10 were breaking out of the box and had to be repaired. Recently we replaced them with HP's and only had 5 of the 1000 plus go bad in the past 2 years...Just saying.

Now my home PC is an HP and it's had a flaky HDD since I bought it 4 years ago. Crashed and had to be restored with the first 4 months of owning it. Luckily I have more HDDs and Software to fix it and not lose any data now.

Like I said, it's hit or miss. I've seen many MANY Dell Inspirons roll through work with bad HDD's. It only takes a batch of lemon HDD's to ruin a lot of computers.
