I have a buddy who sells a lot of his personal items whenever he is low on cash. Well he bought an Xbox 360 about 6 months ago and then found out a couple months later he was in need of some cash so he calls me and asks me if I wanted to buy it. I said sure and he let it go to me for just a hundred bones. Today he calls me and asks if he can borrow it to play a game. First off I'm not big on letting people borrow things. I don't even like to let people borrow movies. I've just seen too many people be careless with dvds and cds. He also has a 16 month old daughter that I could just envision pulling the 360 off of a table. He's done a lot for me in the past and it was kind of like I couldn't tell him he couldn't borrow it. The question I have for you is who in the hell asks to borrow an electronic device?

lol thanks for the comic relief. I just hate letting people borrow stuff and I just have this feeling something is going to happen to it.

If you dont play it often id let him borrow it for a day or 2. Unless he is one of the guys you were talking about that doesnt take care of things he borrows. You said hes done a lot for you in the past(including selling you an xbox for only $100) so id just do it.

Is this friend shady enough to sell it again when he borrows it from you?

I just see something shady behind all of this.

Nah, he won't sell it. He is definitely a good guy. Like I said I just hate letting people borrow stuff. I went ahead and let him borrow it. I just have a strange feeling he will be calling me today and telling me his daughter pulled it off the entertainment stand or some shit.

Do you have a dog cage he can borrow to put his daughter in while he plays? If not, he can borrow mine.

This guy has a 16-month daughter, and he goes out and buys an X-Box, then is in such poor financial shape that he needs to sell it? I wouldn't trust this dude with my shit, I can tell you that. Tell him to stop wasting his time with video games and get a second job! Or get his ass on Monster.com and find a better gig.

Well he doesn't even have a first job. He's a good dude though. He goes to church every Sunday and really believes in living that kind of life. He wouldn't sell it but my main fear is that it gets broke somehow. I just really don't see how he could replace it right now even though I know he would sometime in the future.
