I did not read the whole article so maybe it was a different quote "taken out of context" but Speaker Peloci actually DID say that they have to pass the bill so people can find out what's in it.

"But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy."

There isn't any context you can dream up that makes the phrase "pass it to find out what's in it" anything less than idiotic. Sorry.

Do you honestly believe this quote supports your position? That qualifier at the beginning of the quote clearly says it has to be passed first.

So you voters can find out what is in it. But go ahead and think what you want.

Your an idiot if you think Nancy did not know what she was voting for. Be realistic and stop watch Fox, its making you more stupid. You do not rise and get to be Speaker of the House if your not somewhat intelligent. And by the way, I never liked her and disagree with the majority of things she thinks.

Problem is the "death panel" exists to a point and obviosly the "death panel" was ab over statement. However you can not deny that obamacare sets up a board that will decide on if cerain treatments are economically feasible based on age, health, suvivability, etc.

Even then, the best possible way to comprehend the statement is "I'm not listening to the voters. They don't know what they want. The debate is over. Would you like some water to help digest this legislation while I shove it down your throat?"

Scratch that last sentence. She'd probably prefer to shove it in the other end. Without lube.

Well-versed enough to know you don't have to PASS legislation to give the public a chance to know what's in it -- all you have to do is publish it and give some time for people to read it.

Something this president said he was going to do, but then ignored when it came down to major legislation like the health care bill and the porkulus bill. Then all of a sudden it was just too urgent to wait before passing the bills.

That's because BHO is not the liberal you claim he is.

He's a liberal. He may not be enough of a loon to make those who are looniest among the libs want to pull up their skirts for him -- but he's a liberal.

Yes he is. BHO is in way over his head, he's at least a smart enough politician to realize that he cannot cater to his loony left fringe and have any hope of getting re-elected.

Sure he's a liberal...but I said "not the liberal you think he is." Oats clearly thinks that BHO is a radical, hardcore, anti-capitalist marxist in disguise and that is not true if we are to give any regard to his actual manifested actions and not ruminate about what the man secretly believes behind the curtain.

No, not at all; it is because he is losing - big time. And why is that? Because he is a radical liberal.

I believe he's the most anti-business president we've had...in my lifetime, anyway. Perhaps in two lifetimes.

The true damage he's inflicted hasn't been legislative -- although ObamaKare is certainly doing its part. I think the true damage is being done at the agency level, where his appointees, who reflect his radical anti-business beliefs, are busy putting together regulation changes that are making economic recovery much more difficult.

Judging how radical he is by his own actions isn't the best way to figure the man out. The people he has appointed to key government posts is probably a better reflection of his ideology. And we all know some of the out and out loons he has put in place during his first three years.

Sure you do;) You do know we have a Representative democracy right? You know what that means I assume? We elect people to represent our collective voices. That's just what they did. Get over it.

He lied. Just like he's lied about so many other things. In fact, the man can hardly open his mouth without telling a lie; it seems to be his nature.

Don't worry, I understand elections have consequences...and I'm very hopeful that his own words come back and bite him in the ass a little over one year from now.

That would be awesome, because Biden could be declared incompetent within hours because...well...ummm...he is. Then Boehner would be POTUS.
