According to 97.1 the fan, the reds have called chapman up. I'm waiting for John Fay to confirm it. Can't wait to see him work put of the pen this weekend!!

What do you mean he's not ready? haha. He gets into trouble when he pitches a lot of innings. He'll be fine in a 1-2 inning role

You really aren't quite sure what you're talking about are you? Jocketty has already said they're willing to look at him as a reliever, why would he say that right before he inserts him into the rotation? Especially when all along he has being saying Chapman is going to be a starter? Why would he change his tune then all of a sudden do what he was planning to do all along? Makes no sense. Makes even less sense when you look at who is coming back VERY shortly.

Volquez is apparently looking very good.
Chapman is being groomed for the bullpen for the time being.

this is a fantastic thing.

For the first time in 20(?) years, the Reds starting pitching looks solid.
For the first time in 15(?) years, the Reds are buying at the All Star Break instead of selling
For the first time in 8(?) years, we have enough arms to not throw the hell out of the next big thing until we blow out his elbow.

Welcome back EV......let's save Chapman for the weeks to come.
