A sad day for America. It bothers me that Democrats have no motive in life to better themselves, they'd just rather be lazy and feed off the success of others. Shame Shame.

Sleeper,

Not all democrats are like that! But there are enough that think that that is ok. Politicians "promote" that train of thought all too well, also.

I was being partially facetious, but yeah I know not all democrats are like that. I just hate this bill, and I hate the direction this country is going. I want to earn my shit, be successful, and after I reach that point, give back to my community on my own terms. This bill does nothing but equalize all the hard work I've put forth in my life, just so lazy slobs can get their FREE BS.

Frustrated and PISSED OFF.

It was refreshing to see Mary Landrieu carrying on the banner of Louisiana politics in such splendid fashion.

Here is what I would like to see added to this bill:

Before the Government will provide Health Care to those that "can't afford it" those people must not have cell phones, internet connections, cable or sattelite tv....etc., etc....AND everyone must show proof of Health Care before getting tattoos and piercings.

This would be a great amendment, so it will never happen.

I find it funny how it is legal for politicians to bribe each other with other people's money, but it is illegal for people to bribe them with their own money.

Support for Health Care Plan Falls to New Low

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/current_events/healthcare/september_2009/health_care_reform

38% Support
56% Oppose
Only 16% now believe passage of the plan will lead to lower health care costs. Nearly four times as many (60%) believe the plan will increase health care costs. Most (54%) also believe passage of the plan will hurt the quality of care.

As has been the case for months, Democrats favor the plan while Republicans and voters not affiliated with either major party are opposed. The latest numbers show support from 73% of those in the president’s party. The plan is opposed by 83% of Republicans and 70% of unaffiliated voters.
You people are betting your immediate political future on a pile of poop that nobody wants....but you. Genius. :D
