CC,

I know you mean well, but don't you mean:
"Damn John sure likes to spit on poor and disadvantaged people"? lol
Republicans would rather spit on a poor/disadvantaged person than help them

The democrats and the liberal republicans have done a good job over the years brainwashing people that only the government can help the poor and disadvantaged. Mike Clark is just one of many who have fallen under their spell.

Oh I've never had any doubt that President Obama will sign a massive government health insurance bill into law. He'll do it, as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow.

I don't think that anybody will be shocked.

Maybe you can find something else that will shock and awe us?

They are not passing this bill to help any disadvantaged people. That's stupid if you think so, they are passing this bill to get control. They don't give a rat's behind if 30 million Americans died in the streets without health insurance, all they want is to control your lives.

Disgusting to use the death of TK like this.
You mean just how conservatives use the memory of Reagan to push almost every issue? Goes both way there buddy.

As to getting it to debate, good. I just want something done, to clear for other items. Whatever passed, I'm sure will be weak, and will not come to to be this savior of an option, nor bring about doomsday.

This bill is just slowing up the Hill big time. Other items, like the budgets are so delayed.

My question to those in favor of this bill is this. The CBO and the left have agreed that this bill will increase the cost of health care. Also in this bill it is going to make it illegal to not have health care, punishable by a fine and imprisonment. This is what I do not understand, how are the poor people going to afford this?

This health care bill in its current state is bad news. The corporate lobbyists have destroyed any semblence of universal healthcare.

This is all about the insurance companies getting more profits.

I am surprised the conservatives are against profits?
Some of them must not really be as conservative as they think they are.

The left are against it LOL.

Obama is not left by any means shape or form.

Dennis Kucinich is left and a liberal not Obama.

Here is Dennis Kucinich stating why he voted no. I think there are 39 left democrats that also voted no the authoritarians voted yes to increase the profits of the insurance companies.

The democrats that are against are only so because it only practically takes over the industry, but doesn't explicitly take it over. Don't worry, a bankrupt, single payer system will be the result.

You keep believing that my friend
Just like you keep believing that we need this bill and it will actually lower the deficit.
we have a president that has turned his back on the troops,.
This is the kinda bullshit that pisses me off.

Please explain to me how in the hell he has turned his back on the troops??

YOu can't because he hasn't

Turn off Rush and Hannity and start thinking for yourself
85 days since he was told we needed more troops in afghan,,,,,still nothing, but he has time to go over and kiss the ass of the Chinese people, but of course he needs to, because thanks to Obama we will be owned by the Chinese before the end of his only term in office.
