Nearly 70 games into the season for most teams NOT one single player has hit 20 HR.....without peaking/cheating......How many players this year have amassed 20 or more doubles.......must get within 2 to win.

GO!

sorry.......32 really? I guess that is a touch more than 1 per team......but to have no one at 20 HR yet is very surprising to me

I guess I'm just surprised by how many more doubles than HR I guess....even went back to 2000 and there are usually about 160 players a year get to 20 doubles.......and 60-80 get to 20 HR.....just thought it would be closer considering all-time doubles and hr lists

Well apparently it's not that big of a deal as there are 51players with 500 career doubles and just 25 with 500 career HR.....I thought there were maybe 30-35 players with that many doubles

What player with over 500 career doubles has the fewest HR in his career?

HINT: He once led the league in HR

I was thinking Mark Grace but there is no way in hell he ever won a HR title.

I believe he is one of 2 with over 500 doubles and fewer than 100 HR

One year he led the league in runs, hits, doubles, HR, RBI, avg, OB%, slug% OPS, extra base hits and total bases.....but didn't win the MVP

If you add 2 letters to his first name it is the main word that got Dom Imus in big trouble.

I had a hunch this guy had to be an old timer. Took a look at the career doubles list and then checked the stats of the first guy that jumped out at me as being old as balls and it was the answer to the trivia. I won't answer since I cheated, though.
