The guy averaged a double-double in the series and dominated game 7, especially the 4th quarter.Not bad at all and pivotal to the Lakers' success.

Probably, but honestly....the most valuable player was Artest. He was the difference in the series.

kobe bryant should be the mvp for the finals. Gasol and bryant.were.both huge ine 4th quarter but bryant was the best player for the lakers the other 6 games. Ron artest didn't show up for 2 of the games...gasol just wasn't as valuable as kobe

Kobe was definitely the best player in games 2 and 3 when he shot 34 and 40% (SARCASMMMMMMMM)

I think he deserved it, but I don't really care that Kobe won it. The finals MVP is kind of a joke, it goes to the most marketable player on the team, not the true MVP of the series.
