I can understand people saying the Cavs needed to make moves to try and keep Lebron and all this, but it's not that simple. It takes two sides to complete a trade. None of us know what really goes down inside that organization. For all we know, they might have just sat there and done nothing, or they could have been trying like hell to get guys like Bosh or CP3 or whoever to come here. If the other team doesn't wanna do it, there isn't a damn thing the Cavs can do about it. It's not that easy to get star players to come to Cleveland.

The other team or the other player. Toronto wanted to trade Bosh, Bosh said no. If other rumors are true, CP3 was the 4th of the olympians who wanted to play together so in a year or so, don't be surprised if he replaces chalmers as their PG because the 4 of them are all buddies.

And based on history, the Cavs will make a dumbass move and just bury themselves worse.

Might be true. If I still lived in NE, Ohio I would get to plenty of games. Theres always going to be bandwagon fans. Hell, I'd be willing to bet that the Cavs attendance last year with Bron will be better than the Heats next year with 3 stars.

You claim to be somewhat of a Cavs fan and make comments like "make some dumbass move and bury themselves worse"...........just leave it alone man

That doesn't make any sense. I can't be a fan and criticize at the same time?

Literally speaking, no, you can't. Look up the definition of a "fan" and what the root is...you don't qualify.

I've had ESPN on for about an hour, and in that span they've discussed where the Knicks go from here, and also interviewed Wilson Chandler on what it's like to tank for so long and not get Lebron in the end. Who fucking cares? The Knicks will continue to lose games like they have done so forever. What about Cleveland? They're the ones who just went from top team in the east to probably not making the playoffs. At least New York has Amare, which doesn't guarantee anything, but he'll probably still give you 20-25 points a night. Who's going to score 25 points for the Cavs???

This is getting old. You didn't even think of this point until someone else brought it up and now you're beating it to death.

Nice try, first thing I put on my facebook this morning was how can Gilbert ever go and fire anyone now.

Grant: "Looking back at what we've done, I wouldn't do anything differently"
How about cutting the player that fucked your stars mom? Or doing something, anything.
Chris Grant is not ruling out a sign and trade with Lebron and the Heat
Really? The Heat don't care if you are willing to do a sign and trade now that they got rid of Beasley.
Grant doesn't have a clear answer on rebuild vs. what moves to compete now
And this is the GM?

And no one can deny what Lebron did for Cleveland.

Again, nice try.

Hear this this morning and thought it kind of odd.

Does anyone else think it is a major coincidence that Windy last year happened to buy a house in south Florida only roughly 80 miles from American Airlines Arena in Miami? I wonder if he will be relocating to a paper down there now to be a team reporter given his relationship with LBJ through the years? Some people over on the RCF board seem to think he is.

Actually, Miami is pushing for a sign and trade - not Cleveland. They're trying to convince Cleveland to do it, not vice versa. Moron.

What can the Heat offer? Mario Chalmers? Two 2nd round draft picks? Or a trade exception that is useless when your team is under the cap?

It's not going to happen, but it's been confirmed that Cleveand will not do a sign and trade. Not that the Heat won't do it.

I am hearing that they want to trade the Cavs Wade and Bosh for Delonte and Lebron.

The only reason Gilbert fired Brown and Ferry was directly from LeBron, just like every other decision made in the past few years. At least thats what the rumors are. And not so unbelievable. Ive met Gilbert several times, he wouldnt go off like this unless he was TRULY pissed. I dont blame him, we catered to LeBrons every whim.

And I dont care that he left, who wouldnt? What upsets me is that he waited until the very end with this unneeded spectacle and now all the players we couldve gotten are now gone, thus limiting us in the future of getting people here.
