He's the arguably the best, no doubt, but I imagine most people would laugh at the notion that LBJ is coming back with vengance and that they'd see something like they've never seen before!! He's been a beast for awhile now, but teams have found a way to put a stake in him 7 straight seasons-- aim for the teammates.

I'm not talking about his on the floor play. I'm talking about being pussy boy "buddy buddy" with all of his teammates. I think if he stays in Cleveland he will control that locker room and be an asshole, like Kobe.

She would have said something to Delonte and Delonte would have forgot his meds for a day and just started talking.

BTW.. the new cap is now at 58.044M. Almost 2M more than people thought the past couple months, and about 6M more than the NBA warned people about at the beginning.

What do the Cavs do now besides bend over?

Who can they get? What can they do?

I think honestly their biggest challenge will be to convince solid veteran players to come in as a stopgap, when those solid veterans might be willing to take less money to win rings by filling out Miami's roster. It's really a lose lose for them. The only people who will want to come to cleveland now, are going to be by and large the ones nobody else wants.

Well they have Jamison, Mo, Boobie, Moon, Hickson, Varejao, Parker and Delonte.

I still say they could make the 7th or 8th seed in the playoffs next year.

Maybe they'll squeak in but they have no big scorer. Jamison and Mo aren't going to cut it.

Can they win a title with that lineup though? This is the culture shock which is going to have to be accepted and attempted to be overcome. In the space of hours, it's gone from being NBA title or bust to 7th seed in the east and getting decapitated by Boston/Miami/Orlando/Chicago in the first round. For Cleveland to get respectable again they're going to have to land a #1 pick player like a Rose or a Wall, surround them with good veterans...the kind of players other teams would actually want...and build from there.

Good post and I agree. Unfortunately I see Gilbert trying to rebuild not through the draft with the comment he made last night. I'd rather be exciting like a young OKC team then fledgling like the Mavs.

haha come on. 20 wins next year. They have no legitimate #1 scorer.

Their roster isn't bad, but it isn't good either.

I could see them going .500 next year.

Hes gone its time to move on. I think the Cavs will get busy and try to make some moves. How can you read Gilberts statement last night and think this team and franchise is just going to sit on their ass and not try to get better? It sucks that Bron is gone but the Cavs will move on. I'll be there opening night supporting whoever the Cavs have on that roster.

FUCK LEBRON

They already have. Needed to make a move to try and help their chances and they didn't. Grant should be fired right now.

I'm not saying you aren't a true fan, but let's see how many people are in the stands the last game of the season when the games don't mean anything.

And based on history, the Cavs will make a dumbass move and just bury themselves worse.

That's what I've been saying, but Gilbert is so loyal and has family values, so he can't fire him.
