But check this out. Johnson may get paid in ATL, LeBron should stay in CLE, Dirk should stay in DAL, Pierce will stay in BOS and Wade will stay in MIA. That leaves Boozer, Bosh, and Amar'e as the main guys that will be moving imo.
He'll get overpaid as team chase and miss on Bosh/Boozer/Amar'e etc.
LeBron knows Cleveland is the team if he signs, players will come. Its simple imo. Players never had the leverage during the mid season or at break to force trades (ex: Amar'e with the Suns). Now that teams don't want to be left empty handed, the players can choose what teams they want to be traded to. And Cleveland will hopefully get a player dirt cheap when LeBron re-signs!
I think you bring up a really good point. Yesterday I didn't think Cleveland had a shot with Lebron, but for some reason I feel like he gives them a chance. If he does resign, that has to be the Cavs sell. It obviously starts with him, but if he signs and then he can go out and recruit someone that puts everyone on him. I think if the Cavs could pick up someone like David Lee by giving up Hickson and someone else and can sign a solid PG, that really improves the team.
I'm really intrigued by the S&T talks regarding Shaq. I haven't really bought into a lot of the rumors so there really is no reason to buy into this, but it's something new that isn't necessarily a pipe dream (like the Chris Paul talks).
