Now this from some guy at fanhouse

Byron Scott's agent, Brian McInerney, e-mails FanHouse, denies Scott is in negotiations w/ Cavs: "Byron has not spoken to The Cavs today."

Fuck it. At this point I'm expecting Izzo's name to come up again

I'd take Dirk in Ctown somehow. Obviously something is going on behind the scenes with this whole Lebron staying in Clevelnad ordeal.

Lots of interesting rumors being thrown around. It's really hard to believe anything at this point, but at least some of these things sound realistic. I really do think Lebron heavily considers Cleveland and that a team has to make a pitch to take him away from Cleveland.

I don't know about all the rumors and what is possible, but a guy that I think people will forget about is David Lee. I think once he gets on a good team, he turns into a top level player and could really make a difference on a good team.

I like David Lee's game but he'll be a player picked up by the losers of FA imo. Teams are focused on big names right now.

But check this out. Johnson may get paid in ATL, LeBron should stay in CLE, Dirk should stay in DAL, Pierce will stay in BOS and Wade will stay in MIA. That leaves Boozer, Bosh, and Amar'e as the main guys that will be moving imo.

He'll get overpaid as team chase and miss on Bosh/Boozer/Amar'e etc.

LeBron knows Cleveland is the team if he signs, players will come. Its simple imo. Players never had the leverage during the mid season or at break to force trades (ex: Amar'e with the Suns). Now that teams don't want to be left empty handed, the players can choose what teams they want to be traded to. And Cleveland will hopefully get a player dirt cheap when LeBron re-signs!

I think you bring up a really good point. Yesterday I didn't think Cleveland had a shot with Lebron, but for some reason I feel like he gives them a chance. If he does resign, that has to be the Cavs sell. It obviously starts with him, but if he signs and then he can go out and recruit someone that puts everyone on him. I think if the Cavs could pick up someone like David Lee by giving up Hickson and someone else and can sign a solid PG, that really improves the team.

I'm really intrigued by the S&T talks regarding Shaq. I haven't really bought into a lot of the rumors so there really is no reason to buy into this, but it's something new that isn't necessarily a pipe dream (like the Chris Paul talks).

LeBron always gives Cleveland a chance, its all up to him. What main player outside of Wade will not take the opportunity to play with one of the greatest in the game and an owner who truly will do everything he can. Gilbert has proved he will spend even though the results haven't been the greatest, he still gives 100% effort every single year. Players know that, he doesn't have to prove that like other teams (ex: Bulls willingness to pay LeBron/Bosh then giving Rose a full max in a couple years).

Cleveland truly has the pieces for a S/T because you know the team trading their star won't get full value out of him. It's just the way it works in these situations. That's why you hear the Bosh is waiting on LeBron stuff and I guarantee Toronto is praying that LeBron goes back to Cleveland because they will get some players they want (JJ/AV).

LeBron holds the cards for Cleveland and I think he knows he can bring players to his state, his city, his team, and his legacy at Cleveland if he re-signs.

I really don't know of any rumors outside of major guys getting max contracts via S/T and the Shaq S/T option.

I don't want to sound like I know it all, just trying to insert some logical thinking into what has been a crazy off season.

New Windy tweet: From everything I hear, LeBron has absolutely not made up his mind yet. Pitches over next 2-3 days important. This will take some time.

Keeping it safe and not getting the fans in a panic. Windy seems to have settled down since the Brown/Ferry departures. Dude has been on top of it today.

Windy: #Cavs have moved down road with Byron Scott but no deal yet. With free agency calls to make at midnight, might not get done tonight.

We are now T minus 5 minutes until the summer of Lebron begins. ESPN has the countdown clock going right now and I even saw local KNR radio guy Aaron Goldhammer on with Scott Van Pelt. The Lebron watch is going to be out of control the next few days as the meeting start and rumors swirl.

Love all the contacts so far if we can make it happen especially Salmons, Haywood, and Harrington.

If Cleveland can somehow pull a S/T for Haywood and then still trade for a top FA while keeping the MLE, wow.

That is correct, Shaq said he liked Dallas as a possible destination.

I wouldn't mind getting Haywood, good defensive center who has a decent post game.

would love to get Ray Allen, Mike Miller, or John Salmons.. Though I think Salmons will get a bit more than the MLE.

Allen may take the MLE if everything went right for the Cavs. I know Mike Miller has always wanted to play with Bron, so if we could re-sign Bron, S&T for Bosh, then swap Shaq for Haywood, I'd take a look at the 6'8' SG Mike Miller...

Its all contingent on LeBron signing fellas and if he sees all these names wanting to talk with Cleveland with the hopes of him re-signing, I can only see it as a positive.

On Hoopshype it says Cavs talking to Hornets about Okafor and Collison.

Okafor has the worst contract in the league quite possibly, so that seems a little odd to me.
