I don't know if anyone was watching Raw tonight but Brett Hart was on the mic and he called the WWE the WWF. I don't know what the problem is but the mic skills in the WWE have gone way down. There are still a few great guys but the majority of the wrestlers really need to work on the mic skills.

There may never be anyone better on the mic than Stone Cold and the Rock. I used to be a diehard WWE fan, but what little bit I've seen over the past 4 or 5 years is pathetic compared to 10 or 12 years ago.

The mic skills have been REAL bad for awhile, especially with these younger guys. They need to have them work more in front of the camera in wrestling school. The sad part is that 70% of these shows anymore are all talk and no wrestle.

Right, Vince is only looking to push those who can talk on the stick...look at this tool in the ring right now (John Cena). He no longer has to wrestle, he was decent at one time. All he has to do is the same 5 moves and overcome the odds, and he will be cheered because he can pump up the crowd by talking shit on the mic, and that absolutely disgusts me.

I can pop up some old WCW matches that has more wrestling in the 5 minutes that they were allotted than you will see on an entire episode of RAW. AND you know what, they were damn exciting.

Rather watch MMA, or even high school or college wrestling. This WWE/TNA, whatever stuff is shit.

I can't believe the amount of grown men watch this crap. It's a joke. How can you take it seriously at all?

I mean, I'm not one to judge how one spends their television/entertainment time but I just don't see the appeal. If you're looking for athletics, well, it's not real. If you're looking for a story/drama I think you'll find a better production in a soap opera.

I've never understood it. I guess I could see it as a showcase of different personalities (fake ones but what show isn't made of them?) but even that has fallen by the wayside as the guys who actually could act/perform/were real people left for bigger and better things.

That's the exact thing right there. I watch wrestling but I don't take it seriously. No it's not what it once was but it's a form of entertainment that apparently a lot of people enjoy.

And if you are going to bring up Bret Hart saying things wrong, well he was never a good talker and is not the only one to have said WWF before. They have very good talkers still in Jericho, HHH, Orton, Edge and others just to name a few. The company makes millions of dollars a weeks so hard to fault them for anything they do.

I certainly don't fault the WWE/WWF whatever, they created a product that people enjoy. I just have to laugh all the time when grown people are discussing wrestlemania like it is the superbowl or something.

I'm still a fan of WWE and I enjoy the entertainment value of it ..... It all went downhill & PG once Linda McMahon got involved in politics and feared her opponents would use the WWE against her..... But I'm liking this NXT Rookies/RAW angle

I'd say one person watching pro wrestling for entertainment is no different than another person watching American Idol, Survivor and/or other "reality" shows.

RE: Hart's mic skills. As Knight said, dude never was a great talker and I'd only imagine that the stroke he had a few years back could not have helped that.

Or bowling or NASCAR although there is an actual "winner" in NASCAR & bowling.

Ding. Ding. Ding. We have a winner...but this absolutely pisses me off.

FUCK YOU LINDA! You do not release an icon on the independent circuit that was the best of the NXT'ers and had a story arc with John Fuckin' Cena starting just because of your damned political campaign.

If you read the Steve Cook column on 411mania, he makes a very interesting case on how the Daniel Bryan Danielson release could be a work. Off the top of my head, here are a few points he mentioned.

1. WWE.com had a promotion selling Father's Day ties (the "weapon" that allegedly got dude fired)

2. Cena tweeted about how he wished they could settle it man-to-man instead of this (with the point made that do you think the WWE's big "company man" would public criticizing policy).

3. Finishing the last RAW with a guy getting put in a limo that repeatedly crashed into other vehicles.
