I am thinking about getting a new phone and have narrowed it down to these two phones. Which one is better?

I hate iPhones, but the Backflip is ugly as shit. I'd get the iPhone.

I'm required to say that the Backflip is a great phone...especially once it gets the Android 2.1 upgrade in the very near future.

With that being said, get the iPhone if you go to AT&T.

The Backflip isn't a very good phone.

Out of the two the iPhone, especially the new one in a few weeks is the better choice.

That's why I said "not a very good phone" instead of "is a bad phone". It's almost exactly the same as the CLIQ apart from it's hinging mechanism which I don't think is a particularly useful new introduction to the phone world.

Not a bad phone but if you're going to get an Android phone for the love of god don't get the Backflip.

But yeah, if it is between the two iPhone all the way.
