Today we’re proud to present the first gameplay trailer for Killzone 3. What you are about to see is a trailer made completely out of in-game footage, taken from the game’s fourth mission, called “Frozen Shores.”

Killzone 3 will take you to dangerous new corners of the Helghast home planet, and reveal that its environments are far more diverse than ISA Command had previously believed. In addition to the larger and more varied environments, Killzone 3 also introduces a brutal melee system and plenty of awesome new battle gear, including the Helghast jetpack and the WASP missile launcher demonstrated in the trailer.

Killzone 2 was pretty good. Didn't live up to the hype gameplay wise, but it was still a very good game. Graphically, it's one of the best looking console games bar none. Playing that game in HD is worth the experience in itself, especially with all the explosions and fast paced action hitting the screen.

awesome. Loved Killzone 2, thought it had some of the best AI to date in a game

This game will be a first day buy for me!

I wasn't overly impressed with Killzone 2, but the graphics were great. It will kind of a "wait and see" for me.

I'm not sure how I feel about the jet packs either.

I mean, it's cool in theory, but hardly ever executed correctly in video games.

We'll see how the game turns out... Looks good to me!

Killzone as a franchise has always under delivered for me.

The second game had great visuals though, I will give it that.
