This will I'm sure come as a complete shock to the chatter. It seems like Obama may have lied again. *gasp* I'm shocked. In 3 years, up to 51 percent of workers will have different insurance because of the new law, this after Obama promised that those who have insurance through work would see no changes.
But an early draft of an administration regulation estimates that many employers will be forced to make changes to their health plans under the new law. In just three years, a majority of workers — 51 percent — will be in plans subject to new federal requirements, according to the draft.

^^^Like I've said again and again the ultimate goal of ObamaKare is to force employers to drop private health care plans so everyone will be required to subscibe to one large, single-payer government controlled plan....or be fined for not doing so.

Single, government-run healthcare has been the long-term goal all along.

Anyone who was paying attention realizes that.

If the Republicans can at least take the House, they need to start rolling back as much of that disaster as possible. Yes, Obama will veto, but let the heat keep coming on him. It will only help when he's up for re-election.

Big business wants to rid itself of the cost of insuring their employees as much as big government wants to control it. Together it is a lethal combination for the American citizens.

I came across this: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mark-dorlester/guaranteed-health-care-in_b_280528.html

just now. I'm not reading a lot into it as I'm not knowledgeable on the subject (and it's the HuffPo) but I was surprised by it.

Pretty hilarious if you ask me.

Extracted from the Bluffington Post article:
So, according to the American political right-wing, government-guaranteed health care is good for Iraqis, but not good for us. Not good for you. They decry even a limited public option for you, but gleefully imposed upon the Iraqis what they label here as "socialism," with much Democratic Party member support.
Gleefully imposed upon? What a crock of shit. The American right-wing did NOT write the Iraqi constitution...the Iraqis did.

Apparently there is a significant socialist element to the Iraqi populace. But the AWESOME thing about it is they now have the right to include some dumbass socialist parts in their constitution as part of the democratic process they now enjoy...thanks, of course, to that eeeeeeevil international law-breaker known as George W. Bush. You would THINK the left would see this as a good thing.

While this writer attempts in vain to point out right-wing hypocrisy, he only demonstrates once again the outrageous level of hypocrisy that comes from the left.

Self-determination is such a bad thing. If the Iraqis think government health care works for them (and it might, Iraq is MUCH smaller than the US) then they should go for it. What they decide to do has ZIP to do with the travesty that was foisted on the American people by Obama and the Democrats in Congress.

No I wouldn't think the left would see this as a good thing.

We had no business being there and the fact that they might receive some benefits for us being there doesn't change that fact.

Napoleon had no right to go conquering because he felt inadequate as a person but the countries that he did take over actually benefited from better education systems, etc. That doesn't make it right.
