Sam Shamansky wouldn't be able to get you off if you were on probation, had weed, and a suspended license. How many times a cop has pulled someone over for the same thing makes no difference, lol.

He's my new QB pick for the all-prison team, Art Schlicter is getting too old.

It's not the fact he was stopped coming out of driveway. That's a small, minor moving violation. The far bigger issue here is what he was caught with AND the fact that he WAS PULLING OUT ON THE ROAD TO DRIVE WITHOUT A LICENSE. You can't go driving without a license. You can't get caught with weed anytime. You can't go driving without a license, with weed, while you're on probation. It doesn't matter what he got stopped for; it's what they found WHEN he got stopped that shows (yet again) the true character of this guy. Every school has them every now and then, and he is Oregon's player that you just have to give up on right now.

Who cares? This guy was exposed for the garbage player he is by Ohio State. Oregon is probably glad to be rid of him. Although, If the Legarrete Blount fiasco of last season is any lesson, we may see Masoli back on the team when they need him in a bowl game. ;)

^^^Obviously, the kid wanted to play against the best. Who wouldn't want the opportunity to say, "I played in the S.E.C."

Obviously, he went to the conference that has the least restrictive admission standards.

I don't have a problem with this at all actually. He's not on scholarship, he's paying his own way, probably with the money he earned at Oregon (unless he went out and spent every single dollar of his stipend).

People forget the reason he was kicked off of Oregon was because his second strike was MARIJUANA. Come on now, not that big of a deal to me.

I won't defend his robbery, that's just stupid and idiotic on his part.

I don't know who is dumber, Masoli or Jevan Snead. He would be the Ol Miss QB now but he turned pro, went undrafted, and has already been cut by the Tampa Bucs.

^I agree (lhslep134). Sure he made multiple, dumb mistakes but he managed to obtain a decent undergrad degree from UO, walking on at Ole Miss to play his final year while enrolled in a graduate program.

Point is he's doing some things right in his life and if he can finish his last year on a high note then kudos to him.

Agree. If Clarett had any eligibility left I bet he would have tried to be on the field too, so I don't see why people here are giving him crap

Im not giving him crap, im glad (and suprised) he atleast got his degree from Oregon and is trying to potentially stay out of trouble by joining Ole Miss' football team. Who I do have a problem with is Houston Nutt(I think that is Ole Miss's coach). Last year, he took on a Florida player (cant remember his name) that was kicked off the team for using Joe Haden's dead girlfriend's credit card. (That looks real good lol). After Nutt let him join, he got into more trouble and ended up kicking him off the team. So it was a waste. Hopefully Masoli doesnt turn out that way, but I would figure Nutt would learn from his mistakes.

Once you play one down the clock starts ticking. You have 5 years to play 4 seasons. Lets not mention the fact that he went pro at one point as well.

You sure you only have five years? There was a fifty-nine year old man back in '07 that went back to school to finish his last year of eligibility as a linebacker (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2986313) . DIII might be different, though. But I'm pretty sure there are some guys who have redshirted as freshman and then received another medical redshirt to come back for a sixth year.
