However, I will never go overseas or let my children again. I let my eldest daughter go to Paris with her friend. She wasn't even there a few hours before they were abducted, doped up, and held to be sex slaves. I was fortunately able to save my daughter, but her friend wasn't so lucky. :(

You're daughter's friend loved it with me.

I'd probably check out a lot of castles over there. I love architecture and some of those places are beyond amazing.

It is going very well here; that soccer game the other day was nuts!

I like the blog. Gotta try one of those fudge covered donuts when I tour St. Andrews. Was it pretty good?

^^ Dude. It was absolute bliss. Fisher and Donaldson is the name of the place.

Thank you for the compliment on the blog too. I write for the paper at Clemson, and have always enjoyed editorializing and making observations; this is a really good medium for me to be able to do exactly that, while allowing people I know and people on here to know what i am doing.

Thanks we will try them tomorrow. Got to edinburgh early this morning after an 8 hour flight next to a screaming 2 year old. I wanted to kill myself. Anything else in edinburgh you'd reccomend?

Definitely check out the castle. Completely worth it. Edinburgh is a very cool city, and very clean. Plus there are TONS of great pubs.

Just got back last Friday. Got to walk on the Old Course which was awesome. Isle of Skye in Scotland was also an amazing 3 day tour from Edinburgh. Ireland was cool but Scotland was definitely my favorite. Wish I was there longer then a week.

a buddy of mine (who owns a restaurant chain) just spent 6 weeks in Scotland and stayed on the old course (forget what hole his hotel room was on, but he wasn't in that hotel for the open anyway). He loved it. I know a lot of people from Scotland and they are delightful folks, I think it'd be a good place for me to visit and i'm not necessarily a big time travelling abroad type guy.

looks like you're having a great time. enjoy it brohiem.
