As the 2010 High School Football season approaches, tell us who your team is, and realistically, what your expectations of them are for the upcoming season.

We lost a LOT of players. But we are starting to show that we do indeed reload and not rebuild. We've been hearing that we 'lost too much, you wont have a good season' since 2001. Every year, they prove them wrong. So I expect no different this year. But with a new head coach and a new talent pool, only time will tell. I see around 8-2, losing games to Lancaster and Pickerington North. Maybe a loss to Portsmouth, we'll see. But I wouldn't be surprised if they went 5-5 or 6-4 this season either. Right now Logan is tied with Ironton for the most consecutive SEOAL wins with like 33 or 34 in a row...our first league game this year will be against Jackson..that should be a pretty good game.

Wooster Generals....6-4 or 5-5....everyone in this town for some reason thinks this is acceptable and a "good season". How sick is that?

Massillon Tigers: 5-5, maybe 6-5 if we can squeak a win out against Big Red.

I want Massillon and Big Red to both be undefeated when we play each other. That should fill Tiger Stadium!

Are you counting on one of those wins to be against Canada Art College?

I haven't seen a schedule or anything, but for now, i'm going to say Caldwell finishes with an 8-2 record. I'd love to see them capture a PVC title, but Monroe Central is still probably the favorite to win it again this year.

I'll be honest, I don't know if you're joking around or not, but it kills me when people say things like this, Massillon has always played one of the tougher schedules in the state. Nobody mentions seasons like 97, when Massillons schedule included 3 teams ranked in the USA Today top 25, or the teams that have always highlighted their schedules, like:
Moeller
Fitch
Mckinley
Lima Sr.
Walsh Jesuit
Akron St. V-St. M
Massillon Perry
Lakewood St. Ed.
Buchtel
Ignatius
Warren Harding
Benedictine
Chaminade Juliene
Cin. Elder
Chardon
Mentor
Middletown
Solon
Ursuline
GlenOak
Steubenville
Just sayin.

I suppose that's why we won two state championships and a runner-up trophy in the past five years.

This will not happen! Clinton Massie will win the SCOL again this year and should hopefully get at least to the regional finals again.
