Who is getting loose?

BP has to stay in front of that ball and get at least one out!

pretty sure the Cards even up the score or go up by two this inning. DelRosario will be all over the place I imagine.

Philips was in front of that ball, unfortunately it was hit so hard, playing the hop was guesswork. He would really have to smother it, and even then no guarantee that he can control it to make an out.

Do the Reds retain info.....every game Colby Rasmus hits a low fastball opposite field gap and kills us....he has 8 HR...3 vs the Reds this season

Why neither pitcher over-utilized the inside fastball is beyond me.....that ump game a great pitch location for the pitcher but both pitchers kept going away.

BTW....I love Scott Rolen.

Rolen, dang. That was a play a major leaguer makes. Hurts. But it is only the 6th. Still have three more ab's

I wanna say bad call, but I don't know.

No way to tell with any of those angles.

Good God...how about giving the infield a ball they can see.....gold glovers Phillips and Rolen get eaten up......the ball is getting drilled!

Glad we don't have a guy in the minors that could help our pitching out. ugh....maybe in 2013

Pujols still shouldn't see much to hit here, just pitch to Holliday

At no time did Votto reach his foot back to the bag.....which means he was touching it the whole time.....that was a horrible call.

Thank you Albert for being a little selfish and swinging at ball 3. Needed that one. DelRosario did fine. Rolen should have made the play and the call on the grounder that votto picked was iffy.

Well got Fat Albert out....

This game is over if we don't tie it and take the lead this half.

He WAS in front of it, then leaned away. Leaning away, if his glove misses it, its a big base hit. If he stays in front and his glove misses it, his body likely keeps it in front and he likely can get at least an out. Either way, if his glove catches it, it is a double play. Reds infield gloves sure let them down in that pivotal half inning.
