I like some of his tunes, and he is really good live.
Any other Jack Johnson fans? Not sure if I will get the new album yet as I need to give it a preview first.

I like him. From what I have heard, this album is similar to his older stuff which is great. Sleep through the Static was garbage imo.

Sleep through the Static was junk. Inbetween Dreams and Brushfire Fairytales were good listening though.

Exactly. He got way too heavy on the last record. When I turn on Jack Johnson, I am looking for a relaxing, but upbeat sound; his beach sound.

I agree. I want slow motion, doobie smoking toons that he used to play.

I'm a fan of Jack. Haven't gotten to see him live yet...but hopefully I will see him soon.
And I agree with you guys. Sleep through the Static was way too heavy! I hope this album is much lighter.

IVe liked all 4 of his alumns. But agree that Sleep Through the Static was the worst.

I got the album Thursday... It's a little repetitive for my liking, but i think it's more similar style-wise to his old stuff.
