Soon I'll be eligible for an upgrade with Sprint and was thinking about the 9650. I'm still rockin the Curve 8330.

I can get the 9650 for $200 after all the rebates. My 8330 is still kickin...the trackball fucks up every now and then, but that is a minor issue. A new phone isn't a must right now so I can wait if needed.

My question is...should I wait for something else? Any word on a new BB coming to Sprint. I really like that new slider/touch BB that is coming out...but only on AT&T from what I've heard. I don't want to drop $200 and waste my upgrade discount if something badass will be coming out in a few months.

Also...not switching brands...I'm a BB whore for life!

Did you check out wirefly? I bet that 9650 would be much cheaper there. For the record, I think you are nuts if you have Sprint and you aren't upgrading to the EVO.



EDIT: I did a quick check, it is $180 on wirefly, so it isn't that much cheaper.

Yeah thats what I hear, but I doubt it can be had for $200. I'm still not a huge fan of all touch phones....except the iphone, but I'll never be on AT&T.
