Yes and no. I understand where you are coming from, but many guys much older have as big of egos. And many kids the same age do not. Take a Jared Sullinger for example, he's the #2 rated player in his class and could have done the same thing and I think he would have handled it much better. Maybe it's because he's more mature, but I think his ego is more in check due to his dad and older brothers.

There are exceptions to any rule and Sullinger might be that exception. Generally speaking, most of theses kids have been pampered, praised, and placated to the point that they expect way too much and aren't mature enough to see the big picture.

I agree. It's definitely not for most, but there are some that can handle it. Look at some of the guys who headed to the NBA as 18 year olds and handled themselves pretty well. But then again, there are those that can't handle it.

I just saw an interview on PTI with Jennings for the first time. I am not surprised that he is having success. He seems to be level-headed and is very well-spoken.
