I'm sure Wade is a bit worried about that. People remember the shady things that went on several years ago. Have things changed... eh I don't know. I'm some ways, but after the coach and GM getting into it, I'd say some things don't chance in the city. Wade wants to be in Miami, plain and simple. That's as easy as it comes. Is he trying to kill two birds with one stone? Of course. Talk a bit of shit on ChiTown to the point people say "Well, he's got a half decent point", then, say how Miami is so loyal. It's just another play in Miami's offseason playbook. There will be more to come. I don't know if it'll go public, but I'm waiting for Arison to be a big part of this. A lot of fans on here think Gilbert is a great owner with mucho bucks to blow (very true, he gives it his all, this is his baby)... well, Arison has a lot more to blow, and down the road, that could mean something to a superstar (future MLE guys, paying the max on extentions even when the ending years wouldn't warrant it (Wade)).

1.How did they run Michael Jordan out of town??hoops23 wrote: They're not all playing together, in fact only two of them may.
Secondly, it's being reported that Wade has told LeBron to stay AWAY from Chicago, due to the shady ownership which ran PHil and MJ out of town.
2.I think Lebron will listen to more people than just Dwyane Wade

I've said all along if I was Lebron I'd take a couple million, go to Orlando with Howard, and try and attract another big name. Orlando is a nice city with no state income tax and having one of the better big men in the league wouldn't hurt either.

I doubt they would want to play together (more than 2 of them) because the others would get zero credit for winning. Who the hell is gonna even talk about Joe Johnson? lol. Id think Wade and LeBron would want to be THE GUY way too much to allow themselves to be on the same team. Bosh I can see playing second fiddle for the next contract with either Wade or LeBron.

Don't ya think it's just the LEAST bit odd that the greatest basketball player of all time has no association with the team that he's best known for? When he came back, he came back with the Wizards. When he wanted to be a GM, he had to go to another team? Now he's with another team after that?gibby08 wrote:

Even when they were winning championship after championship there was STILL talk of "breaking them up."

Chicago didn't do Michael any favors after his playing days were done, but can you blame them? He is an atrocious executive (Kwame Brown, Rip Hamilton trade) and he was an even worse playerBR1986FB wrote: Don't ya think it's just the LEAST bit odd that the greatest basketball player of all time has no association with the team that he's best known for? It makes sense. But there is 1% chance of making a trade and sign happen. Gilber would NEVER do it, and without his help, it wouldn't happen this year. Well maybe it's just me, but I look at it like this. If they all play together and win championships, everyone is always gonna say "they couldn't do it on their own". I doubt any of those egos want that. Also, I would have no interest in watching a team dominate the league like that team would. It's just my opinion.trackandccrunner wrote:LOL! Seriously? How would they be tarnished and hurt the game of basketball? I'd say it would be the opposite. People always say two big name superstars can't coexist on a team just think of having 3 1/2 on the same one and them winning multiple championships. And it would be great for the game showing that the players would care more about winning than money.se-alum wrote: Bottomline, if they all played together, I think the championships would be a little tarnished and it would really hurt the game of basketball.

I know. But these guys don't think like us. They all worry about making the big pay day. I can understand that if I am Joe Johnson. But with Lebron, he's filthy rich already. He'll never be able to spend what he already has. Get the rings.devil1197 wrote:Never will happen, at least this summer.jordo212000 wrote: I've said all along if I was Lebron I'd take a couple million, go to Orlando with Howard, and try and attract another big name. I agree, but sadly....greed is what most of these guys are about....and that is probably true with Lebron as well.jordo212000 wrote:I know. But these guys don't think like us. I HATE that arguement. I don't hate you guy, just sayin'. It's just dumb. We're talking like these are Valley High fags. They aren't. Wade HAS WON a ring. He needed A LOT of help (although it didn't look like it in games 3-6). He WANTS another star. He's a SMART basketball guy. He knows what it takes. You can't beat the Lakers with him and a buch of good lookin Tito's. You need Michael Jackson's Thriller and Billy Jean, plus some good other singles nobody really remembers. I'll admit now, and burn me for it, but sometimes... I think LBJ isn't THAT smart. He's got a court IQ, but he's signed off on every move and it hasn't worked. As a GM (which he is isn't), I think he's got some learning to do. Miami makes the most sense to me, NO QUESTION about it. But sometimes I really doubt if he's smart enough to see it. I dont' think his ego is too big, but it really miight be, I dunno. He's got the world in his FUCKIN' palm. Do people even really need to question "whose team it would be" if he went to Miami.? Wade is the kinda guy that would say... "Dude, really? Take all the press conferences.. I'll sit in the back. I don't care.. as long as Daddy's getting the gold to weigh down my finger. I know I'm the first one to win a ring from "our" class. People have respected me, but REALLY disrespected me as a player, I KNOW I'm a fuckin' gamer and that I'll be a HUGE reason why I win rings every year. But you go ahead, be the franchise face.Laley23 wrote: I doubt they would want to play together (more than 2 of them) because the others would get zero credit for winning. Actually guy, he does. LBJ CANNOT sign in Orlando. They don't have the cap. They NEED a sign and trade. Gilbert will suck off Ryan Leaf before he makes that type of trade.jordo212000 wrote:No I mean Lebron could sign there. I know it's not a popular opinion. But I really see it as the best. It's fine though. I've been part of the 'unpopular' opinion before and it's worked out very well for me on this nba talk in the past 2 years. I hope this goes the same. I don't know if it happens, because LBJ is a hard guy to figure out. But it makes sense. Eh, screw it, I'll go out on a limb and say it happens. That's not bias talking, just me. So if I'm wrong, I know I'll get burned. It's cool. Unless I get an SQ type burn... I might run. I'm a punk ass!devil1197 wrote: I don't see Wade/LeBron playing together.

It's cool man, the caps were to.. like.. prove a point? Ha I dunno. But like I said, I get what you mean. LBJ in Orlando with Howard is NAAAASSSTTTY. Buuuuut, it can't happen, this year.jordo212000 wrote:Easy fella, I thought you misread my post. My bad.jpake1 wrote: Actually guy, he does. LBJ CANNOT sign in Orlando. They don't have the cap. ^He's got an interesting point. Not to mention, Phil Jackson hasn't discounted Cleveland or anywhere else--yet he came right out and said he has ZERO interest in coaching Chicago again."I think the biggest question that you think about has to be loyalty," said Wade, a Richards grad who added he has been a Bulls fan for a long time. "I know one thing about Miami: It is a very loyal organization. I see what they do with their players when their players get done with the game of basketball … how loyal they are. I don't know about the Bulls."
Wade said it appears to him that the Bulls don't measure up to the Heat in the loyalty department.
"I see Michael Jordan is not there, Scottie Pippen is not there. … You know, these guys are not a part," Wade said. "Things like that. So that is probably one of the biggest things for me, because I am a very loyal person."
Also from this article, directed towards dynasty who said LeBron and D-Wade are two egos that are too big to be on the same team (did I get all my "2's" right S&L? I know you'll read this):
Funny thing is, LeBron has always said he just wants to win as well--yet it gets overshadowed by him saying he wants to make a billion dollars--as if that's a bad thing."I understand that you have to have a great team, a great supporting cast around you. That's all I want," he said. "My ego is not that big. … I just want to win."
