Why was Amare Stoudemire on the bench? Was he injured or in foul trouble? I know he isn't a great defender, but as athletic as he is, he can grab a board in that situation.

That was a great rebound, nevermind the shot.

Its a lot better than 15,6,7 and losing by 32 in a crucial game 5 at home.
Kobe played hard all game long and should have gotten to the line more than 2 times.

Because he is a moron First, he takes one of the worst shots in memory then he tried to justify it.
Kobe shot poorly tonight
No, he didn't. His FG % was just about equal to his season's numbers and his 3-point % was above his season's averafe

Yeah it was ill advised for Artest to take it but it was a wide open look and it didn't hurt the Lakers. I was more ticked off at Gasol missing the dunk on the great pass from Kobe with 17 sec left that would have sealed the game.

I would bet Phil Jackson has a different take on the shot.

These last two games have been great examples of how it's a team game and we get too caught up in saying that guys can't lead their teams. Kobe's put up GREAT lines in both, but they lost the first one. The other guys showed out tonight and backed him up.

Agreed 100% SQ. Kobe has been playing well, glad the other Lakers decided to join him tonight.

Well if he was, they might want to review Channing Frye's rebound before the pass out to J Rich. He took traveled big time.
