"I left my wallet in there" may be the worst excuse for breaking into a stadium. The fact that a game has not been played there in five months makes it just plain pathetic.

Maybe a little bit of racial profiling going on? Get ready for the bans on travel and doing business in Pittsburgh. It does make you wonder what they were up too, what are the odds of them showing up to Court?

I'm sure Heinz Field has other events other than football.

You are correct. There was a wedding their the night before. There are other things to do at a 1st class facility other than showing up 8 sundays a year to watch your team get their ass whipped.( cleveland ) hahaha

i wouldnt call it racist. you have 3 guys from completely different parts of the country(TX, CA, IL) showing up at Heinz Field saying they lost their wallet there in december?(unless there was a concert there or something since then) thats all we have been told though, there could be more to the story to explain what i just wrote.

I think they handled it right... No racism here. There have been terrorist threats of sports facilities getting attacked. Whos to say that the police didn't catch their "stash" they never made it to and the next function at Heinz Field was the target?

With names like those, I don't care what color or ethnicity you are, preventing an attack is priority one.

Wtae news at noon said they attended a wedding there the previous night and wanted to take some pictures of the field but wasn't allowed access. So they decided to sneak in and take some pictures. I agree with SOS, who knows what their intent was but I think the authorities handed it the right way.

I bet they just wanted pictures..if they were terrorists they could easily get pics and infor by going to an event at Heinz field like a Pitt game. Prolly thought they could get in and easily not get busted.

Or hell..they could take a tour if they wanted to get inside info. We took a tour of it 2 years ago....from locker rooms to luxury boxes to press area and down to the field....but ya couldnt get ON the field...ya could stand in the endzone by the goalposts. I got down on my knees to see if I could notice the DDGrassmaster type of sewn turf but couldnt tell.

That's what I was thinking. If you were just fooling around, some drunken/stoned bad idea, you'd either just come clean or have a better excuse than that.

"I lost my wallet" is something an ignorant terrorist would come up with. You know, because the actual smart terrorists always send someone else on the suicide missions.
