Depends on how nitpicky/bitchy you want critiques to be. It reads well. The only changing of any wording I'd make is in the very first sentence as "had very little expectations" feels a bit awkward to me and I'd change "little" to "few". Also, there are a few areas where you don't have commas, but should --- the sort of thing I notice when I'm at work where I'm expected to be a grammar nazi.
