Really nice job by Cueto to get through that with no runs.

Nice job Cueto...for as much trouble he's been in so far, he hasn't give up a run and 31 pitches through 2 tough innings is doable.

I really liked the decision by Cabrera on that sharp one hopper to try to throw out the runner who thought the grounder was going to get him in easily for a run. If Cabrera makes a good throw, he is out easily, but if it was just 6" worse than it was tthe run scores and you get no out.
I think major leaguers should more often go for that lead runner on sharp one hoppers, even though they are playing back conceding the run on most grounders. Another play that I'd like to see more is with a runner on 2B and no outs and a sharp one hopper, throw to 3B for a tag out of a key run.

I agree mhs..if they dont get that out, its 0 outs and a man on first..certainly nothing to worry about. And it's only 1 run.
Hell of a pitch there by Cueto

OK I'll be honest, I really don't care what Tony Pike has to say right now.

Yeah I've always preferred the Cowboy over Welsh too. Welsh is way too positive; he never says anything negative about anybody. He kisses too many butts.wildcats20 wrote: Really wish the Cowboy would do more TV games lol

I'm not saying Cowboy is overly negative, but he finds the happy medium. He's funny sometimes too. I love when he starts talking about food. There's a funny youtube video of him and Thom Brennamen talking about BBQ during a rain delay. Cowboy goes on for about 5 mins

Has Tony Pike been trying to get everybody married? Does he want to get a Toyota sign in Carolina's stadium? hahawildcats20 wrote: OK I'll be honest, I really don't care what Tony Pike has to say right now.

Looked to be a greivous error by Phillips that should have gotten the Reds out of the 4th on Cueto's 65th pitch. But on the 66th pitch, a fly to CF and Stubbs makes a perfect throw to home for an easy out there. If Cabrera makes a couple of throws like that on Sta night and in the 1st tonight, those guys who were just barely nipped, would have been out by a similar margin.

The Reds just can't solve Gallardo. BP, Votto, and Rolen have got to do some damage next inning as it'll be their 3rd look at him.
