I'll be honest after Friday night's loss, I really thought this team was going to get swept over the weekend.
I think it showed a lot about this team with the way they were able to bounce back and get 2 HUGE wins.
I like the Reds in this one, 5-1. Cueto pitches another gem.

Gallardo is the dude, I think the Reds lose tonight and win tomorrow.

its a good pitching matchup, one I'll keep my eye on tonight from afar as I flip around extra innings during Yankees/Red Sox commercials.
Milwaukee has been pounding the ball recently. In GABP, the ball flies. Could be trouble if Cueto doesn't keep it down

Brewers have lost several games in a row. To me that says they are due. I think they get at least one, and tonight's game with Gallardo pitching seems like the one.

Gallardo will out do Cueto tonight...I think Cueto will serve up a couple bombs. I hope I am wrong but I think the Reds may have a tough time against Gallardo tonight.

Brad Penny isn't too bad of a pitcher either, and has OWNED the Reds at GABP. Yet we hammered him yesterday. Reds keep it going with a 6-4 victory.
Anybody else going to the game tonight? I'm headed to the Moon Deck.

If Gallardo is going tonight, who is opposing Bailey tomorrow afternoon? I know Gallardo was scheduled to go tomorrow and not today.

The "First Place" Cincinnati Reds does have a nice sound to it. It's been a little while since the Reds have been at this altitude.

Right, and Dave Bush was supposed to start today but they pushed up his start to last night. The Brewers haven't announced a starter for tomorrow's game.

GO REDS!
Lets hope the Brewers' bats stay quiet for 2 more games. Lets see if Cueto is for real, Gallardo will be real tough.

Brad Penny isn't quite on Gallardo's level though...You had to see the Reds being able to hit Penny at some point. I just think it will be tough to get 4-5 runs of of him

the weather has sucked here all day. Shouldn't be a problem tonight but it will prevent a decent crowd from showing up for sure.

I know what you are saying, but Penny does not equal Gallardo.Mooney44Cards wrote: Brad Penny isn't too bad of a pitcher either, and has OWNED the Reds at GABP. Yet we hammered him yesterday. Reds keep it going with a 6-4 victory.

Cueto mows down Weeks and then gives up a triple to Escobar

Holy shit...Cabrera makes a great play to get Escobar at home on the sharply hit ground ball.

Gutsy play. Nice job by Cueto getting the 2 ground balls after the triple.

Lead off double for Cabrera. I would like to see a little hit and run or something here.

not a fan of the bunt there at all. BP can hit the ball to the right side, I'm sure that was his call but to me it seems like he's giving up there.

I agree, I'll take it, but you're right; I would rather see him try and knock one out there into right somewhere.

Rolen smoked that ball but pretty much right at McGehee

How about BP bunting toward third, making the 3B field it and have the longer throw that he'd have a better chance to beat.
