Press your Luck is my favorite. When that show was first introduced there were only 9 different patterns for how the board changed. One of the contestants figured this out through watching the show and when he was on he won a shit load of money.

Does "Cash Cab" count? I think it's cool that contestants don't realize beforehand they are on a game show.

Some of them are planted by the network, but the truly random ones they do are cool.

I watch wheel of fortune alot. It is not my favorite though i love the new game show, Minute to Win It!!!! Family Fued is also a good game to watch.

Jeopardy by a wide margin. Wheel of Fortune is OK, in the old days I used to watch What's My Line?, To Tell The Truth, The Price Is Right, I've Got a Secret, Beat The Clock, and many others. I was sort of a quiz show junky.
