Winner of the West has the Cup wrapped up in my eyes.

One other thing, the douche bags like "Strap On Dildo" who think there's a conspiracy by the NHL to get Crosby to the finals needs to look no farther than the first 10 seconds of tonight's game. Sid gets called for an absolutely bogus boarding penalty and immediately after that, Cooke gets called for a terrible high stick. Both penalties were weak but I thought Crosby and the Pens got all the calls?

I don't know, it makes sense. Then again, after the Caps and Devils were gone I thought the Pens would walk to the Cup Finals.

Let's put it this way Rock. You're sad and I'm glad. Bottom line. So long Cindy. All the diving your team could muster couldn't bring you back........

There was no way Bettman could switch the schedule of the series around to benefit his girls and look what happens.....bounced by the 8 seed.

YYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think they were fair, and I think the refs were fair during the game.
But, I'm just a fan of hockey and not either team.

Halak is freaking awesome btw.

Probably Saturday or Sunday. But, I think the NHL is waiting till the end of Friday's Game 7 to announce the schedule.

Those calls were garbage, especially Crosby's penalty..........10 seconds in to the game? Give me a break.

Any way you slice it up, Pittsburgh didn't execute. Regardless of those calls, they made too many errors and missed too many chances and that's very uncharacteristic of the Pens.

Where you see that? NHL.com doesn't have the game listed.

Nevermind. Wishful thinking. I was skimming an article called Sharks Hawks Vie For WC Supremacy that said they faceoff Thurs. night, but then I looked at the date and it said 1-27-10, lol.

They can't make us go a night w.out hockey can they???

Time to re-build. Lets start thinking defense #1, then goalie.

Perception vs. Reality...it's why the NHL playoffs are the most tense and gripping postseason games in pro sports.

Perception: The Pens are better. Defending champs. A couple of the game's best players.

Reality: The Habs wanted it more. They had a goalie who was unbelievably on. And scrapped for every damn thing they got.

The (on paper) superior team lost because the other team believed they were better and wound up playing like they were better. It's depressing to say this, but my kudos to the Habs. Keep winning to make us look halfway decent. It's better to be beat by the best than by another footnote...

I'm guessing it's "STUPID PERSON TALK" for either how many of us Pens fans don't seem to currently be posting about our team's defeat in the immediate hours after it happened. It's a common trolling tactic to act like fans of teams they're trolling are bandwagoners, pussies, bitches, etc. if they aren't immediately available to "eat their crow" after their team loses. The troll will get a tiny handful of people to get pissed off at their comments and, therefore, validate their existence. It's best to ignore such stupid comments as the mindless ramblings of a social retard and move on to discussing what upgrades/improvements the Pens need to make to avoid making what has to be considered a choke-job again next year.

Nobody "fell" off the bandwagon... Most Pens fans have been Pens fans for a LONG time. Strap-on, I have been a Pens fan since before you were even born... Do you have ONE "good" post in you? If you do, lets hear it.

Apparently he disappeared to wherever another "best player in the nhl, ovechkin" went last series. A reason Montreal deserves credit. They've demonstrated they can frustrate and shut down the elite. It was funny for me when it was Ovechkin being pwned in the first round...not so much now...

Crosby had a decent series, but played poorly in game 7. I'll give him a pass though....Sid had a great season. He also won, in roughly the same year, a Stanley Cup and an Olympic gold medal. Don't forget he also led the league in goals, 2nd in points.

I will 2nd that... He will be hungry again next year and I feel sorry for anyone standing in way...
