Chris Heisey 8
Brandon Phillips 4
Joey Votto 3
Scott Rolen 5
Jay Bruce 9
Jonny Gomes 7
Ramon Hernandez 2
Paul Janish 6
Johhny Cueto 1
vs. RHP Charlie Morton
Heisey back in the lineup and Cabrera gets a night off. Hopefully Cueto can build on his last two starts and continue to turn the corner.

Morton's finally started to look like a MLB pitcher his last two starts. Hopefully he can continue to build on that.

I'm still not sold on Janish. Him, Cueto, and Heisey could be 3 fairly easy outs in row tonight. Hopefully that's not the case and they knock this kid around and put up a big number.

Heisey with an infield single for his first ML hit.

congrats to chris. how awesome was the job by BP with 2 strikes? if he stays focused he's a hell of a player.

I agree.
And Welsh gave us a stat I didn't realize. BP has only missed a total of 1 inning this year.
Heisey goes 1st to 3rd on BP's single. BP takes 2nd on the wild pitch, Votto sac fly to right centerish. 1-0 Reds.

Still kinda pissed about that call last night. It was soooooo obvious he was safe. Ump was lazy and didn't get into the right position to make the correct call.

Ok...I can understand calling Bruce, Heisey for one inning...but don't you think someone would have told him that in between innings? He's still getting it wrong!

cueto is easily one of the worst hitting pitchers in baseball.
Heisey is not in right you fuck, is Chris scared to correct him?

How about them Reds? My son in Cincinnati has got to be feeling pretty good. The Reds are a whopping two games over .500 and only three out of first. Can it be that the long dry spell may be ending? Let's hope so.

64 pitches thru 5 for Cueto, no walks, 4 Ks, and only one hit. Its a legal game if the rains come.
