Ghana...wow. Some TERRIBLE PKs. Gyan and Mensah had horrid PKs (Gyan in ET). The Uruguay dude that blasted it was awful as well. The one good save ended up being the difference, so I guess that is good.

WOW! That was the best game I have seen so far in my opinion! The defender who received the red card at the 120th minute is a hero for Uruguay. Very exciting game. What was up with that piss poor halfass effort pk shot by the Ghana captain though?

Poor Ghana they should have won that game. African nations still cant get passed the quarters. WOW just WOW.

It was their striker Suarez who got the card. He was just back defending for the corner.

That PK miss by Gyan made me think of the Champions League final between Man United and Chelsea in 2008 where John Terry messed up the fifth PK that would have won it for Chelsea.

I have a real problem with what Suarez did. Dude disrespected the game in my opinion. He's a joke of a player, no matter how good he actually is. You have to blatantly cheat, for a chance to win.

I realize Ghana had the chance to score the goal, but that ball was in the net if it wasn't for a cowardly act.

Haha i thought the same thing. Also thought the same thing when the Uruguayan player kicked it straight over the goal as well. Poor Baggio thats what he is infamously remembered for, when he should be remembered for many other things.

It really is not much different than when players foul in the box or on break-away etc.

How can you have a problem with it? He saved a goal, regardless of it being a foul or not. Would slide tackling someone during a breakaway be any better, just cuz he didn't use his hands? He got called for it and will miss the next game, but he saved them the game. Ghana seems to suck at PK's.
