Even though this is over, but who else is thinking, man, how would we have done in this game? You gotta think that if we could have beaten Ghana, we would have quite the shot of winning this game. Plus, I know the Dutch beat Brazil, but man, they haven't looked overly impressive. They are very beatable, so we could have had an outside shot at the final...

We couldve won this game, although Uruguay is better than us. But I think The Dutch wouldve rolled us. They havent lost or drawn any games here in South Africa. They went 8-0-0 in their qualifying group (pretty shit group, but still) and they beat us in a friendly before the WC. They would shred our defense I think.

Always take the red card. As just seen, you never know when someone will blow the PK.

Definitely agreed. In a game like this at the end, it's against the rules, but it's better than just letting the ball go by you.

Suarez ends up saving Uruguay (twice) but wont be able to take a PK, and will be out versus the Netherlands if they win. Tough blow for him. He could also face some Fifa suspension beyond the red card...

If they win, though, he'll be hailed as a national hero. If an American player did that and USA won, I would certainty view that player as a savior...

Tough blow for him but he just saved his team at least until the PKs. I'm sure they'd take that 10/10 times again if played over.
