fantastic second half.

That first shot by Sneijder was amazing...that thing was in regardless of whether or not Melo touches it...
The red card just iced the victory

Still on track for a Netherlands/Argentina finale.
Looking optimistic for my bracket.

I kept telling people that Brazil didnt deserve all this praise. They had looked "ok" to me this WC, I dont get the high praise comments and crowning them so soon. They had only beaten N Korea 2-1 and Portugal and Ivory Coast dismantled that team. They couldnt break through against Portugal, when they were trying to even though the tie suited them. They did look fantastic against Ivory Coast I thought, and decent against Chile. Glad I picked Netherlands in my bracket.

BTW Killdeer, That wasnt even a shot by Sneijder. It was a decent ball, but it shouldve been cleared easily by the Felipe Melo or caught by Cesar.

Another thing of note. Felipe Melo had the assist to Robinho, then the OG, then the red card. He was a busy boy out there today!

Melo never had a chance for that ball, and the only way that ball is kept out of the net is if Cesar gets a good look at it for the catch or a punch out. Cesar can hold Melo responsible for that. Cesar was really a bit too far out to really have a decent chance at it himself.... it was really driven well.

That was absolutely a shot, and Sneijder is very well known to take them from far outside the 18.

Uruguay have been totally outclassed for the past 10 minutes. Honestly, pretty surprising. I thought they'd handle Ghana with relative ease.

I think that is the first goal from a free kick in this world cup unless I missed something. Hell of a strike by Diego

You really think he shot that?

Melo wouldve cleared it if Cesar didnt hit him (not to mention he didnt really go after it right away) and vice versa. It was a very lucky goal.
