gobuckeyes,

Sorry, but the democrats in power think that they can spend the way out of it, and that's not a change I can believe in. It doesn't make any sense.
*They ought to know better. If they want to save the day, they need to do drastic spending cuts. There's something different to do if they want to do this country good.
But, I guess that's just happy thoughts that need to be thrown right out the window. We cannot point fingers at one group with one hand, while carrying the torch in another. I am not buying it. Nobody should.

Then why is it that in EVERY SINGLE POLL I have seen,

His approval rating is between 50-56%

I think he's doing a good job(not great),and will continue to improve the economy
His average is 50. Two polls have him at 46%...including the one established as the most accurate.

Who established it as the most accurate?? Republicans??

How is it that EVERY OTHER POLL on there reports him having a positive approval rating EXCEPT Fox and Rasmussen?? Hmm....

Did you notice the "Sample" column? Rasmussen samples likely voters. Fox and Quinnipiac (who also has approval at 48%, though +6 differential) sample registered voters. Everybody else samples adults.

That explains the discrepancy.

You know it's sad to think that there are people who voted for Obama simply because they wanted to make history. I never would have believed it if I didn't hear 4 or 5 people brag about it after he won.

My brother is one of the people who fell for his campaign promises and now he wishes he had his vote back. You know what they say though. Hindsight is 20/20.

Here are the final polls (and a handy dandy graph for the whole campaign period) of the 2008 election. During the entire campaign there were very few polls that had Mccain as the preferred candidate and the final polls for all of the sources (which are all the major polling people/networks) had Obama leading.

Dude, seriously.

And you probably missed the point over the summer where FOX had him at 57-59%, often 5-6 points above everybody else.

not really...since it's kind of hard to disprove a negative (can't disprove something where there's no actual "proof" of the thing I am trying to disprove)

If your views are indicative of the average Republican, no wonder you guys can't win an election. People are getting just a little tired of being talked down to and preached to by the Republicans who think they friggin' know it all. Your boys had six years of total control to fix everything that was wrong with our country according to them. Your party failed, and the voters went a different direction.
When someone's panties get in a wad that rapidly, it says (a) we've struck a nerve and (b) we must be dangerously close to the truth.

By the way "our boys" failed because they spent like Democrats.

The voters have lost their way.

True. "Radical Liberal" works well for me. Also, He is now below 50% in another poll you might be familiar with.

Putting news of President Obama's approval rate dipping below 50% in perspective, USA Today runs an excellent interactive chart plotting presidential approval rates since 1945.

When comparing various presidents to each other, as of right now, President Obama most closely tracks Ronald Reagan.

Hmm...

Except for the constant girl-like whining about "my predecessor" and "we inherited," yeah....he's totally Reaganesque.

Cool tangent though.

I love you liberals, you care not how far the rules are bent or even obliterated in some cases to further what you feel to be for the better good.

My question to you would be this, rather then having to prove something that is almost nothing more then common knowledge to anyone that payed even the slightest attention to this election. Please tell me how you believe they did not have a roll in Obama's election?

This I gotta hear!

But you will not answer me, because you can't!
