A new Public Policy Pollling survey finds that 52% of Republican voters nationally think that ACORN stole the Presidential election for Barack Obama last year, with only 27% granting that he won it legitimately.

Is that just delusional? Probably. But it now makes sense that Doug Hoffman is playing up the ACORN conspiracy theory in the NY-23 special election

He didn't have to steal it. There are more than enough idiots out there who voted for him just because his name wasn't Bush and he didn't have an R after it. I'm sure more than a few are having buyer's remorse these days.

There is no doubt ACRON stole votes and Obama's Chicago thug machine did everything it could in key states to steal votes, but it still probably wasn't enough to turn the election like Al Franken did in Minnesota.

What a fucking loaded post, there is a difference between "stole an election" and questioning whether there was any voter fraud.

I think Obama WON the election (and I hope many voters that legitimately voted for him are suffering Obuyer's remorse, particularly one of the millions of unemployed), but I also think its nuts to think that there wasn't any voter fraud at all.

On thing that you have to remember about polls like this...or those approval polls for that matter....unless the pollsters are surveying tens of millions of peopple, the sampling is not statistically significant enough to really give you a good read on how the population as a whole feels. This is why I put no stock into BHO's approval rating, Bush's approval rating, etc.

Obama didn't steal anything. He was given a wide victory by millions of cross over voters as well as the normal Democratic base. The Republican choice for Veep didn't hurt him either. As for the statement that most Republicans believe the election was stolen, I've been a Republican my entire life and I could be again if the Party starts to display characteristics of a 21st century based political group as opposed to what it is currently representing. The Conservatives will not have to complain about the two party system much longer if the current trend in the Republican party continues. There will be only one party and it won't be the Republicans.

He's broken several promises and his promises of transparency and culture change in Washington are jokes. This administration is anything but transparent and the politics is the same old, same old.

He didn't have to steal it. It didn't really matter who was running for the Dems. They were going to win. Just like it won't be that hard for a Republican to win in 2012.

I will tell you what part of the problem is though. I haven't been interested in politics for too long but lately I have learned a great deal. One of the first things I noticed is that there are A LOT of political sheep out there. There are people who vote strictly for Repubs and Dems and that is just not my style. I vote based on who I think is best for the certain position. I have a few friends who were all in for Obama when the election was upon us and kept throwing out reasons that you could tell they had heard from family when they were growing up. "Democrats care for the working class and the average people" and "Republicans are only for the rich." Oh and I can't forget the classic "he has to be better than Bush." Anyways here we are 10 months into the president's term and these same friends are still giddy like little school girls for Obama but they have no clue what is going on. They didn't know anything he has done since he has been in office. So I am led to believe that they are other people out there like my friends. So when I see that Obama still has a positive approval rating it means literally nothing to me.

This is sad.

His average is 50. Two polls have him at 46%...including the one established as the most accurate.

1. Bush Fatigue had run its course
2. The Obama Team ran a slick campaign and sold the fence riders and the politically clueless an obvious boatload of Change We Can Believe In horse shit
3. He's black and everyone just had to be part of making history.

Now the regret (buyer's remorse) is slowly but oh-so certainly setting in.
