(*it should be noted that he's indian, and even his emails are in broken english) I referenced him an email from 2 weeks ago where I asked if I would be presenting anything (because the schedule, while not having my name on the ops part, had a substantial chunk set aside for operations). Needless to say I'm a little upset by this.
Complicating the situation is the fact that this meeting is in New Orleans, and I've been at the Hotel Bar for 4 hours now.
FML.
I'll update you all on how it goes tomorrow night.

It went okay.
Mine was not the worst of the 6 presentations (though it was the shortest, considering the agenda had me going for 45 minutes and I was through in 35 minutes). I woke up at 6:20 this morning and proof read everything to make sure there wasn't any glaring mistakes.
In my favor was the fact that I'm sure our partners do like we do and put the most underperforming people on non operated projects (and since we operate this project I'm assuming the guys that I presented to are not the cream of the crop). They didn't know the right questions to ask to get any really dirty information about whats going on.

Now I have a similar meeting monday morning in Houston for another project and I knew that I had to present for it months ago. I'm almost finished with that presentation (granted its a lot more in depth). I'll finish it up tonight or tomorrow.
