I really don't think that the Oklahoma game will be a sell-out. I'm expecting about 45,000.
You know just as well as I do how retarded most in this city are. Will the majority even know that the game is at PBS? Granted I am contradicting myself by saying I'm going to my first UC game in 1.5 years, so maybe attendance will be good.
I don't know about that. I think the game will be a sell-out (or very close to a sell-out). UC brought 30,000 to the Sugar bowl last year and that was all the way in New Orleans. I am hearing from the folks in the atheletic department that UC is close to selling out seasons tickets for Nippert. I am sure those 35,000 will go to the Oklahoma game. What's more, season tickets holder of the Bengals have first dibs on their seats for this game. Plus, I am sure Oklahoma will bring in about 10,000 of their own fans. I think attendance for the game will be fine.
To piggyback off of what Goosebumps said, this UC squad could potentially be better than last season. Offensively, they have more weapons and when Collaros ran the offense last year, they did not skip a beat (in fact, in the UCONN game he set the Big East record for total offense). Defensively, Jones has not only installed the 4-3, he has brought up the level of physicality which was missing last season. I think people will be pleasantly surprised as to how much better the defense will be this season.
