Hope all works out for you. It sounds like there are some people on this site who are willing to help you out (God bless you guys, btw). Can you be moved to another position at your company? If the worst thing happens, which I pray it doesnt, call your mortgage company and plus you would probably get a good amount unemployment. Hope and pray all works out for you and anyone who goes through this.

O-trap, I'm so sorry you're in this situation. As others have said, cut back on non-essentials, keep your head up and start sending resumes ASAP. I have no doubt you will land something in no time. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

Best of luck, and I'll definitely keep you and your wife in my thoughts.

Terrible news, but cliche's are cliche for a reason. Something good will come out of it.

O-Trap wrote: My company has decided that they are changing their business model, and that my position is being eliminated. I was 80% of our household income, and I loved what I did. I don't know what we're going to do, or how we're going to make it, but I know we will.

I have a feeling we're going to lose our house, though. I don't know what to do. It makes you feel so helpless.

In case anyone reads this and is looking for an email JV manager in the biz-opp niche, I'm available, and I come cheap relatively speaking.
I lost my job last December and was unemployed until I found a new job at the end of last month (which I like better and make the same money). You have always seemed bright, you will persevere.
