This extra inning game like the first two wins in Florida, are the kind that get the bullpen over taxed. The two in Florida weres more due to giving walks, but tonight the defense caused the pitchers to have to get 8 extra outs, and kept Leake from going 7 innings again.

Hererra threw 6 pitches, Lincoln threw 9, Cordero threw 9, and Rhodes threw 12. I'd hardly call that over taxed. Yes Masset threw 31, but I would guess he's unavailable tomorrow. Owings didn't throw a thing, neither did Fisher (thank god). We'll be fine. Relax. Bronson is pitching tomorrow, he eats up innings.

Someone is bound to bring up the fact that they also threw in the pen, which also overtaxes them. It happens every time someone talks about a bullpen being over used.

Against this line-up Bronson is subject to go 2 innings and give up 10 runs.
