I've never wanted to kill myself more than after being forced to watch Madea's Family Reunion (take away my man card if you must, it was with a bitch who didn't even put out :( )

Ok. This is going to sound tremendously racist, but black people find some things funny that white people don't, and vice versa. I, as a white dude, don't get the appeal of Tyler Perry, Ice Cube movies, etc... that doesn't mean I can't see why people would like him/his stuff, but it aint my cup o tea

Seeing as how the vast majority(everything?) of the work he does is targeted towards black people, and I'm a white guy, I'm going to have to say no. I've never really seen anything that he's done.

I, as a black man, do not find everything that he does funny. His movies are horrendously redundant. However, there was a time when I thought he was hilarious and his plays had me in tears. He appeals to older black women nowadays.

Unless you mean in a "so bad it's good way". Which I never get into very much because it's funny for an episode or two and then I'm all "this is terrible" as the novelty humor wears off.

No, and I don't think it has anything to do with race, either. Every race, gender, and age group has (usually) distinct tastes. This guy's movies/tv show appealing to black people is about as racist as saying 'The Notebook' appealed to women more so than men, or the Disney channel appeals to little kids more so than it does older people.

All that aside, from what I've seen of his TV show, count me out.
