I think Jamison is probably better than Garnett in some aspects but one thing about Garnett is the trash talking, and that can have a huge effect in a game. If you can't handle someone trying to get in your head than that can pretty much take you out of the game. So I would not be so quick to put the money on Jamison being better than Garnett.

SOOOO excited but not for the officiating crew, and neither is Windhorst.

Brian Windhorst PDcavsinsider

Officials for tonight: Ed F. Rush, Jason Phillips, Bill Spooner. Cavs had more losses w/Rush this season than any other crew chief.

Spooner worked last Cavs-Celtics game, heated affair with 6 technicals. More known for calling "crab dribble" a travel on LBJ last yr.

LOL

This reminds of a thing Bruce Drennan said the other day..

The NBA WANTS Boston to get to the Finals for one last hoorah with the Lakers before the Celtics window officially closes.

He went on to trash David Stern and his "affect" on games.

FYI: On the first Thursday of every month LeBron pays Morgan Freeman to follow him around and narrate his day...
lmao.

Varejao will get in Garnett's head far more than KG will get in the Cavs collective head. No player in KG's career frustrates him like AV does, it started with KG was in Minnesota.

lmao, this made me picture Varejao as the muppets "The Animal" and Garnett cussing him out only to hear a response of "GOBBA DOBBA GUP GUP GUP" and then KG growling in furstration that his shit talking is futile.

Garnett's lady is hot though. Big shocker--I've been with some bangin' hot girls, and I don't make 10's of millions a year.

Anyways, the original post made me laugh, my roster comparison goes a little more like this:

Rondo>>Mo
Allen>>>Parker
Pierce<<<<<<<LeBron
Garnett<<Jamison
Perkins<<Shaq

C's bench<<<<<Cav's bench

Uglier than most think, assuming LBJ is alright and we come out and play OUR game and don't let these bitches get into our heads. You know it's going to be physical, you know they're going to be shady, we know what we're up against. I'm picturing the Lakers game on Christmas day when I picture this series. It'll be the same, LeBron won't let the team get distracted by the bullshit that will happen in this series and we'll keep our cool and dominate. But I think too many people are buying into the ESPN hype of this series--sometimes you have to not be a jackass and realize why they're hyping it. They want ratings, it's not because they think it's actually going to be a good series. The Cavs SHOULD destroy them in 4-5 games. But the Lakers SHOULD have beat the Thunder that easily too, so we'll see.
What makes you think the series is going to be so easy?

In the real world there are no rules to bandwagoning.

"We don't like them, they don't like us," Cavaliers guard Mo Williams said. "It's obvious."
"It's going to be a good heavyweight fight," Boston's Paul Pierce said
"They do a lot of talking," James said. "At some point in time they back it up, too. We're looking forward to it. We're not much of a talking group, but we're not going to back down from anybody. It's going to be a really fun, really physical series."

I think it will be a great series. The cavs might win in 5..but i expect every game to be physical and competitive.

Because Boston has no answer for what we do and what we're best at. Their only hope is when Ray Allen goes crazy--which he's still capable of, but Parker does a pretty good job on him so I don't see him doing it for 4 games.

Bullshit. I see the draw there, but the best ratings they'll get are from a LeBron/Kobe Final. There is no LA/Boston conspiracy.

C'mon boston win the game and jump all over the injured James.
Be clean but foul hard.

So would I. So does the entire coaching staff and roster. You live with that, Allen is their x-factor.

A few predictions for this series

KG will mouth the words mother fucker over 200 times.

Pierce will have to be attended to while laying on the floor at least twice.

LBJ has three triple doubles in the series, but not tonight, he will get his team in the flow of the series tonight. Game 1 28 pts. 7 boards 12 assists.

There will be 8 technical fouls in this series, 6 belonging to Boston.

Agree with this one, to an extent anyways. I have no idea how many there will be but I think Boston is will lose it the closer they get to having their season ended.

Boston sweep would be great but to see Boston take in in 7 with game 7 going to triple overtime would be so much better.

No, but maybe his mom went to school with Scalabrine's dad.
